| Slayer...Slayer...Slayer... is a narrative video recounting the first time I saw the band Slayer after dropping acid. The video includes footage from MTV’s The Week In Rock that I appeared in, which examined moshing, the activity at concerts where people hurl their bodies into one another. The segment features the legendary death metal band Slayer and how their security team controls the crowd at their concerts. I’m the person shown being talked to by the head of Slayer’s security team. That clip fades into an out of focus close-up of my face as I begin to tell the story of the first time I saw the band Slayer in concert, while taking the drug LSD. Visuals related to the story appear in a collaged, hallucinogenic manner, while two classic Slayer songs play in the background. |
