| For The Patron, I gave away two hundred
and fifty dollars in the form of one dollar bills to those attending openings the night of February 10, 2000, in the lobby of the 529 West 20th Street building in the Chelsea area of New York City. Each dollar was signed by me, creating a dilemma for the recipient. Should they spend their newfound wealth or keep it to remember the occasion? The money was used from a grant that I received from Artists Space Independent Project Grants program. |
