Chris Bors: Kill Your Idols is an exhibition catalog from a solo exhibition at Guttenberg Arts from March 4–April 4, 2016 of Chris Bors, a New York-based artist whose graphic, post-pop, conceptual works feature a mash-up of images, in which any visuals are fair game for repurposing. His recent paintings, many of which appropriate logos from hardcore punk bands, are meticulously painted to resemble silkscreen prints, political advertising, or t-shirt graphics. He coined the term "virtual dumpster diving" to describe the practice of taking images and videos from the web. The catalog features an essay by Carl Gunhouse.
